30 Days of Lists is coming soon (March 1), so of course I decided to sign up, only this time I took the lessons I learned from the last round (that I sorta forgot about) to heart and made a few changes to how and why I was doing the project.

For example, I picked up some cool pens at the store—they aren’t gel pens, but there are a ton of colors and I figured it was time to try something new. And, while I was at Staples, I picked up a Martha Stewart by Avery notebook. Love these, they are sort of like Moleskin, only they’re on SALE!!!!

So once you sign up, you get a ton of information—you get printables as well as prompts (if you want to work ahead) and you also get some exclusive discounts and the chance to win!!! So, with my 38 page notebook, I decided on a 2 page a day spread, and I printed out some of the printables. Here is one of the printables from the rukristin papercrafts freebie page in use. Thanks to my handy MS glue pen, it went in perfectly, and I love the size!

I also decided I wanted something a little different on the inside, and I still had this transparency from my Studio Calico Project Life Kit last month, so I taped it in using some washi from my stash.

And then I used tape from the January Main kit (as well as some of the alphas) to cover the journal. I was out of the S, so I had to use a lowercase z, instead of using an uppercase s. The S would bother me more, or so I thought, more than the z, but now both are kind of annoying me.

Apart from the Staples purchase of pens and the notebook (just over $5), I was able to use my stash for everything else, which really impressed me. I thought the Amy T cutout worked so well with the overall look and feel of the journal, and I’d never used washi tape to cover a whole notebook, which was awesome (and I’d originally used a sharpie paint pen to decorate the journal, but didn’t like how it turned out).

Super Excited for this to happen—and to finish the book. I plan on popping it into a small page protector and put it into my project life once it’s completed!

Are you doing 30 days of lists? If not, you should check it out. Also, if you are doing it, what does your book look like?
